6 Interactive Fishing Minigames
Every catch triggers a real minigame. Players have to earn their fish, not just afk at a pond. Each minigame can be individually enabled or disabled, with difficulty, speed and timing configured to match your server's playerbase, and players can be blacklisted from or whitelisted for specific games.
- Struggling Fish — Hold sneak to reel while the fish fights back — let go to recover stamina
- Judgment Area — Keep your cursor in the green zone long enough to land it. Easy/Medium/Hard tiers
- Click Challenge — Randomized CPS test — reach the target before the timer runs out
- Dance Sequence — Follow a random sequence of left-clicks, right-clicks, and shift presses
- Pointer Bar — Stop a moving pointer in the correct zone — yellow and orange bonuses
- Moving Rod — Timing-based reflex test
Custom Fish — Full Control Over Every Catch
Create unlimited custom fish with full control over rarity, size, weight, spawn conditions, pricing, textures and what happens on the catch. The plugin ships with a free custom resource pack — textures included, no extra setup required.
- Rarity Tiers — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary — or define your own
- Size & Weight Ranges — Min/max size and weight per fish, randomized on catch
- Spawn Conditions — Biome, weather, time of day, Y-level, region, season, lunar phase
- Base Pricing & Loot Weights — Individual sell values for the market and fine-tuned catch rates per fish
- Custom Model Data — Full resource pack support with custom textures and custom catalog lore
- Catch Commands — Run commands on catch with %player%, %xp% and %rng_min,max% for random values
- Skill XP per Fish — Each fish grants configurable XP to AuraSkills or mcMMO
- Skill Level-Locking — Require a minimum AuraSkills fishing level before a fish can be caught
- Rod-Locked Fish — Restrict specific fish to specific custom rod types
- Vanilla Loot Blending — Configurable chance (default 10%) to still catch normal Minecraft loot
Fish Evaluation — The Mystery Mechanic
Some caught fish arrive with unknown rarity, size, and weight — displayed as "???". Players bring them to the /evaluator to reveal true stats. Creates anticipation and gambling-like excitement without any economy risk.
- Configurable Mystery Chance — Default 30% chance a fish arrives unevaluated
- Parent Fish System — Unevaluated "mystery" fish hide their true identity until evaluated
- Custom Animations — Supports custom resource pack evaluator animations
Tournaments — 6 Competitive Goal Types
Run automated or manual tournaments with a boss bar, broadcast announcements, and a live leaderboard GUI. Rewards are commands, so give keys, money, items, ranks, or anything your server uses.
- Biggest Fish — Catch the largest single fish by size
- Heaviest Fish — Catch the heaviest single fish by weight
- Most Fish — Catch more fish than anyone else
- Highest Score — Catch fish with the most combined value
- Total Size — Accumulate the highest total size across all catches
- Smallest Fish — Catch the smallest fish to win
Fishing Parties — Social Fishing
Players create, join, and manage fishing parties for group play. Promote moderators, toggle party chat, and unlock party-only enchantments that reward cooperation. An external Parties plugin can be used instead of the built-in system.
- Create / Invite / Kick — Create or disband parties, invite and kick players, promote moderators
- Party Chat Toggle — Private communication channel for party members
- Party Info & List — Member lists and a list of all active parties
- Fisher's Bond Enchantment — Bonus effectiveness when fishing in a group
- Shared Bounty Enchantment — Share catch rewards with nearby party members
16 Custom Rod Enchantments + Augment Crafting
Players craft augments at a cauldron using materials to enchant their fishing rods. Sixteen rod enchantments, each with multiple levels and custom probability weights, plus six combo augments that fuse two enchantments into a single craft. Every augment recipe is fully configurable.
- Bait Enchantments — Everlasting Bait (chance to keep bait), Auto Bait (equips the next bait), Versatile Bait (attracts different fish types)
- Casting & Reeling — Long Cast, Quick Reel, Swift Cast, Powerful Reel (better odds against bigger fish)
- Luck & Lures — Storm Fisher (rain), Bountiful Lure, Magnetic Lure (wider radius), Mystic Bite (rare items), Treasure Hunter
- Group & Utility — Fisher's Bond, Shared Bounty, Monster Repellent, Line Mender (repairs the rod while fishing)
- 6 Combo Augments — Magnetic Storm Fisher, Mystic Treasure Hunter, Versatile Bountiful Fisher, Swift Powerful Fisher, Long Cast Treasure Hunter, Everlasting Auto Bait
Custom Fishing Rods & Baits
Create unlimited custom rods with unique stats and baits with targeted bonuses. Rods can carry their own durability and permission requirements; baits can favour specific fish or rarity tiers.
- Rod Stats — Luck values, enchantment slots, bait capacity (default 10), custom model data and rarity tiers
- Rod Limits & Durability — Per-rod caps on enchantments and baits; custom durability that degrades with use
- Permission-Gated Rods — Assign permission nodes so specific rods need a rank to use
- Custom Baits — Targeted catch bonuses per fish or rarity, with durability, model data and rarity
- ItemsAdder — Custom item textures for fish, rods and baits
Dynamic Fish Market
Players sell catches through /market or a configurable GUI. Fish prices are calculated from base price, size, and weight with configurable dividers. Vault-integrated, with full custom resource pack GUI support.
- Size & Weight Pricing — Every catch priced by its physical stats, not just rarity
- Vault Integration — Sells into your Vault economy
- Custom GUI Layout — A resource pack GUI, or the default GUI with configurable titles, items and lore
Fishing Spots with Holograms
Define custom fishing zones anywhere in your world with /spots. Set radius, assign rarity boosts and a spot type, and mark the zone visually with packet-based holograms and bubble particle borders.
- Per-Spot Rarity Boosts — +20% Legendary at the Enchanted Lake, or any config you design
- Packet-Based Holograms — Visible, lightweight, no entity lag
- Bubble Particle Borders — Clear visual indication of the zone's edge
- Spot Types — Type configuration for different spot behaviours
Environmental Effects — Weather, Seasons & Lunar Phases
Three dynamic systems stack to create genuine reasons for players to come back at different times. A rare fish might only appear during a full moon, in rain, during winter.
- Water Pollution — Configurable environmental states that change available fish
- Seasons — Start and stop seasons by command or automation; seasons modify spawns and unlock seasonal fish
- Lunar Phases — Moon cycle affects conditions — rewards timing-aware players
Weekly Fish Top, Leaderboards, Catalog & Fish Finder
Automated weekly competitions plus a persistent all-time leaderboard, a per-player catalog tracking every fish species, and a catchable Fish Finder that shows what is biting where you stand.
- Weekly Fish Top — Resets every Monday. Top 3 get command rewards, queued for offline players; paginated GUI
- All-Time Leaderboard — 3 sort modes (Most Fish, Rarest Fish, Total Rating) with per-player stats
- Fish Catalog — Per-player discovery progress — total caught, max size, max weight per fish
- Fish Finder — Right-click to see every fish possible at your location, weather and time
Random Events, Custom Items & Developer API
Keep fishing unpredictable with crab attacks and lightning strikes, define standalone custom items for crafting materials, drops and rewards, and build addons on a developer API with custom Bukkit events.
- Crab Attack — Difficulty-tiered crabs with scaling health, flame particles on higher tiers and a custom model
- Lightning Strike — Configurable damage — with events at a default 15% chance, AFK fishing stops paying
- Custom Items — Standalone items for augment materials, crab drops or event rewards, with model data and commands
- Custom Bukkit Events — CustomFishCaught, CustomFishPreCaught, CustomFishPreDecided, CustomFishGenerator, MinigameSuccess/Fail, BaitUsed, SharedBounty, CustomRodValues
- Cancellable Hooks — Pre-catch and bait events are cancellable; loot tables can be modified before the fish is decided
Commands, Placeholders & Integrations
Player commands cover the catalog, market, leaderboards and parties; admin commands hand out rods, baits, items and fish and manage seasons, tournaments, spots and minigame access. Storage is JSON by default or MySQL; fishing can be disabled per world or per WorldGuard region.

How reviews work
Anyone with an account can review; reviews from accounts (or emailed invite links) tied to a paid order get the "Verified purchase" badge automatically — we never add the badge by hand. Every review is checked before publication, but only for spam, abuse, or personal data: we publish negative reviews and do not reward, edit, or reorder reviews based on rating. One review per person per plugin. Reviews marked "Posted on SpigotMC" or "Posted on BuiltByBit" were written by buyers on those marketplaces and copied here by us with a link to the original; they never get the badge and are not counted in the rating.
Verified-purchase reviews get a badge.
