Minecraft Chat Plugins
Two chat plugins from the same author cover the two ways servers usually approach chat. LPC is a free formatter that reads the prefixes, suffixes and groups you already have in LuckPerms, so a formatted chat is one config line away. LPC Pro is the paid tier: MiniMessage formatting with gradients, hover and click actions, AI moderation, a Discord bridge, chat bubbles, six chat games, achievements, staff tools and a chat shop in one jar.
Both run on Spigot and Paper. LPC Pro also lists Purpur and Folia and syncs chat across BungeeCord and Velocity networks. LPC needs LuckPerms; LPC Pro needs PlaceholderAPI for placeholders and hooks into LuckPerms, Vault, DiscordSRV, ItemsAdder, Oraxen, Geyser and Essentials when they are present.

Do these plugins work on Paper, Purpur and Folia?
Both list Spigot and Paper. LPC Pro also lists Purpur and Folia (native scheduler), with BungeeCord and Velocity cross-server chat sync built in. LPC targets 1.7.10 through 26.2; LPC Pro targets 1.17 through 26.2, and its chat bubbles need 1.19.4 or newer.
Does the AI moderation need an API key?
Yes. LPC Pro's AI analysis runs through OpenAI's API with a key you supply in the config; the plugin handles rate limiting, response caching and async dispatch, so messages appear instantly and a failed check deletes the message after delivery. The word filter, anti-spam, anti-caps and anti-advertising checks work without a key.
Are updates included?
Yes. LPC Pro is a one-time purchase with free lifetime updates. LPC keeps receiving compatibility and security updates, while new features go into LPC Pro.
